Each year, Southern Eye Bank dedicates a “Gift of Sight” Memorial Tree in honor of our Pediatric Eye Donors.
If you are a family of a child who has donated the Gift of Sight and have a changed your address or phone number, do not hesitate to call our office or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will gladly honor your child with an ornament. Simply let us know how you wish your child’s name should appear on his or her ornament.
The tree is located in the main entrance of Celebration in the Oaks. Look for the giant lighted Unicorn. The tree is located on the right as soon as you pass through the entrance. Our 2013 tree is decorated with colorful butterflies. On the wing of each butterfly is the name of our young heroes.

The Tree of Life Celebration at Lafayette General Medical Center will be held in the hospital’s Pavilion on Sunday December 8th at 10am.
The Tree of Life Celebration at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital will be held in the hospital’s Atrium on Saturday December 7th at 10am.
Families are encouraged to bring an ornament in honor of their loved ones for the Lafayette and Lake Charles’ Gift of Life/Sight Trees.
