Their website includes resources providing not only information concerning vision loss, but also information that reflects high-expectations, promotes self-confidence, and provides inspiration for blind and low vision people and their loved ones.  In addition, the NFB operates the NFB Jernigan Institute—the only research and training center developed and directed by the blind—providing innovative programs in education, technology, rehabilitation/employment, research, and products and services to help the world’s blind achieve independence.
